Pinwheel

US children's TV show Pinwheel was a puppet show with a couple of human presenters that ran from 1979 to 1989.

The hosts of the show were two humans called Jake and Kim but most other characters in the show were puppets. Some of the more memorable characters included Molly the mole, Ebenzeezer T. Squint, Luigi O'Brien, Lulu and Silas the snail (who was always on his way to the Snail's Convention but never made it!).

I remember watching Pinwheel with my big sister when we were little. It was great! I loved the bugs & Plus & Minus. It was a good children's TV show- not like what they have on now. I wish Nickolodeon would bring reruns back. They have with many other shows- why not this one? It made lots of happy memories.

I remember getting up early so that I could watch pinwheel. I still have fond memories of it now. How can we get the show back on TV? I loved it....absolutely loved it. Also, Plus and Minus were my favorite.

I remember Pinwheel, too. I loved that show. I could watch it all day long when I was little. My kids would really like it now if they still showed it. I always loved Plus and Minus and the little song they sang: Plus and Minus, Minus and Plus! We Care about eachother, we care about us... We're Plus and Minus, Minus and Pluuuuus! I loved the Hobo Bugs, and I loved that cartoon that would come on during pinwheel with all the hat characters that lived in Hattytown. Nickelodeon should get back to being for KIDS ALL the time and then maybe they could put Pinwheel back on.

I remember the show Pinwheel. There were those snails named Herbert and Lou Lou. They also had the little boy who would always try to take off to the moon and he would miss the shuttle take off every time. It was one of the best kid's shows ever. Why don't they have quality TV like that today for kids? I wish they would play re-runs of it today!

I remember Pinwheel but only vaguely. I disticly remember the song though... "Pinwheel, Pinwheel spinning around..."!I rememeber there was a big house with a sort of A-frame front to it. Above the front door there was a semi-circle window. But that is about all I really remember.
