Old Spice

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Forget the Spice Girls - the Old Spice Boys came first - riding high on the crest of a wave, promising a love potion any man could splash on his chin to attract the best beach babe around!

I THINK I remember my Dad having a can of that, Goldie? Was it in a brown leathery looking can? Or am I imagining that?

I can remember Old Spice having a mans deoderant called Leather, and the can was brown in colour. It smelt very nice and I will admit that I even used it myself because it was THAT nice. I wish old spice still made it. Does anyone else remember this deoderant?

I disagree - Old Spice was the after shave of young men in 1960´s Keith Jefferson wore it in 1965 and I will never smell it without thinking of Keith.

Old Spice was a must-have in every dad's Christmas stocking in the 70s. It made a nice change from socks. Sadly, Old Spice remains an old man's aftershave and is an essential for the elderly man returning to the dating scene.
