Northstar was a television show in which Greg Evigan starred as Major Jack North with Deborah Wakeham as Dr Alison Taylor. An astronaut goes into space, an accident happens, major North is hit by a magnetic field or solar flare which gives him super human powers after his recovery. All he has to do is look at the sun, however he needs sunglasses to prevent too much from killing him.
