Bands and musicians BANDS

Nirvana

Nirvana were supposedly the definitive Grunge band. They consisted of Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl and ... that tall lad who played bass.

With songs like "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "In Bloom", and "Come As You Are", they certainly did make a name for themselves as a downright good band.

The only thing I didn't like about other people who liked Nirvana was the fact that at every possible time they'd mention they had "Bleach" - Nirvana's little-known first album.

In my opinion, it was little-known for a reason. It wasn't the fact that they kept it a secret. It's because it was tedious to listen to.

Just admit they were only good after their second album, please.

The reason I dislike Nirvana fans is your very comment in the brief description. Nirvana was amazing from day one and their weakest album was Nevermind. In Utero was brilliant as was Bleach. Nevermind was made for the commercial market.

Kicked out over the top/super macho hair metal and replaced it with intelligent lyrics and introspective songs. Thanks nirvana, you saved rock
