Mobo Bronco Horse

Mobo's Bronco was a tin rocking horse that you sat on. You could move Mobo forward susing both its front and rear legs via wheels that you had to press down on using foot rests at either side of the horse. These were where the stirrups would naturally lie.

Bronco was white with grey dapples (painted on) a black mane and red reins.

The Mobo rocking horse was great fun for kids, but mothers hated them because of the high pitched squeeking noise they made. It also inevitably made marks on the lino.

My sister had a mobo and used to clank up and down the street on it. She loved it so much she hauled it up the stairs and tucked it into her bed LOL Patsy

I REMEMBER MY BROTHER TONY GETTING MOBO WHEN HE WAS VERY YOUNG. MY GRANDPARENTS BOUGHT IT FOR HIM AROUND 1949-1950. HE STILL HAS IT AND IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION TO BE THAT OLD. I WONDER HOW MUCH MOBO WOULD BE WORTH NOW.
