Love Heart Lolly

I think Love Heart Lollies were made by Walls. They were in shape of love hearts with dark chocolate on outside, strawberry ice cream in middle and a blob of strawberry stuff in centre. They were lovely. I don't know why they stopped selling such yummy stuff!

Heart-shaped ice lollies consisting of raspberry ripple ice cream covered in chocolate? They seemed enormous and hugely expensive (about a shilling I think, when my usual lolly was about 4d!) My mum would never let me have one but my Gran would treat me. It seemed the height of extravagance and I was in heaven!

I recall that they were the most expensive 'Lolly' you could (or couldn't!) get at the time. I don't recall exactly how much, but if you ever did get one, you didn't share it! The strawberry 'Heart' stuff tasted amazing!

Why did they stop making these? The strawberry bit was amazing. They beat Magnus by a mile. X

These were fabulous, the red sauce was so full of flavour. A special package all round. Why they couldn't be reintroduced is beyond me. I sacrificed things to have one of these weekly it was so good.

Oh yes! Heart lollies! What a treat it was to get one as they were very expensive. Mum would never agree but my granny was always a soft touch. I remember them being enormous. I bet if they brought them back now they would be half the size!

Although Walls Heart was very tasty I remember it being very expensive at the time, not an ideal product for kids I had to opt for Haunted House Count Dracula FAB ETC ETC.
