ADVERTS

ITV safety advert 1970's (Sir Issac Newton poem)

There was a safety advert on ITV in the 1970's that I remember. I think it was about wearing hard hats on building sites. The poem went thus: "Sir Isaac Newton told us why, an apple fell down from the sky, And from this fact, it's very plain, all other objects do the same, A brick, a bolt, a bar, a cup, invariably fall down, not up...."

Can anyone remember the rest of the poem please?

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia!
