Iron Maiden

I first heard Iron Maiden when I was in Germany on a school trip. My mate bought a tape, (7th son of a 7th son,) because he liked the artistry on the cover. He always was weird. Anyway, that album must have been played about 100+ times before we came home. (We shared an earphone each, so we both only heard it in mono until we reached home. lol!) But after reaching home, within a few weeks I'd saved up enough to get more tapes, and from that point on I was into heavy metal. Best album : Iron Maiden (the self titled 1st album with the original singer) Best cover : Somewhere in Time. Best song : Infinate Dreams.

Maiden are my all time favourite band My mother helped to get me into them cuz she has a tendency to buy my da stuff that he's not really into..& strangly enuff she bought him the first ten years on video 2 which he replied "Iron Maiden?" he never watched it..it just sat on the shelf gathering dust so one day i thought why not give em a try?after all i'd grown up on Deep Purple,Sabbath, Zeppelin...ect so i popped the video in the machine & i've never looked back since! they are amazing!they have always have been a very focused band, producing amazing live performances & awesome albums.I just couldn't live without Maiden! what ho said the king with three bonce! don't meddle wit things you don't understand! Nicko is so funny! i love him to bits!

Saw Maiden twice - 1st time met them Paul Dianno a real gent and so was Aidrian. Didnt like Steve Harris or Clive Burr very much! 2nd time with Bruce Dickinson he tripped and fell on the set on stage and after the gig I said "You didn't send me a postcard on your trip!" needless to say he wasn't amused

The amount of air-guitarists Iron Maiden, Meat Loaf, Motorhead etc. had in my disco days ! It impressed the girls tho.

...standing in a muddy Donington field in 1988, with 108,999 other metal-heads at the tender age of 15 - watching the greatest onstage spectical I have seen in my life as Maiden brought their 'Seventh Son' tour to the UK's premire Rock festival. A great memory (sigh) I had been turned on to Maiden 3 years earlier at the age of 12.....and at 33 years of age now, I'm proud to say I'm still a Maiden fan. Maiden have provided me with many great memories throughout the 80s, early 90s and in the 21st century.....

Buying the album Live After Death & looking at the gatefold picture & just being amazed at how much was going on. Then it was seeing them live for the first time in 1986 on the Somewhere On Tour. As mentioned before Maiden are still going strong. With a new album & tour this year. Up the Irons!!!

They're still going. Although they record new material, they've just finished a tour where they only played songs from the first four albums; a heaven for '80s nostalgia freaks...
