Growing Pains(1985-1992) was about a mother, Maggie Seaver, going back to work after staying home with the kids for fifteen years. Jason Seaver, the father, is a psychiatrist, who has his practice in the home.
They have three kids, Mike, who is not very smart, goofs off, and likes to tease his sister Carol. Carol is a bookworm, very smart, and is shy. Ben idolizes Mike, loves to eat, and is the youngest, until Chrissy is born.
