Ghostbusters II (1989)

I think Ghostbusters 2 was a pretty darn good sequel. It had all the characters from the previous film, but rather than centre around Zuul, its main baddie this time was a painting.

This painting, (and a pretty darn scary painting it was,) had the power to control people, and was intent on killing Dana Barrett's child.

Highlights from the film were when the Ghostbusters were digging up the road without permission from anyone, and when they gave the good vibes to the Statue of Liberty.

Made during Bobby Brown's heyday so he got to sing the theme tune (sorry dennis waterman) was actually quite a catchy song, "too hot to handle too cold to hold, they're called the ghostbusters and they're in control", class! Never mind mood slime, I want to dance whenever I hear "higher and higher" too (although the Jackie Wilson version not the rubbish cover in the film).

I remember this wasn't anywhere near as good as one. That's why you can get the two bundled for $20 This was a last ditch attempted by columbia to avoid being bought by sony, the actors and actresses took pay cuts to help....

The guy who kidnapped the baby from Sigourney scared the pants off me and the painting too of course. :)
