George and Mildred

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

George and Mildred was a 70's sitcom about a middle aged couple called , rather unsurprisingly, George and Mildred. Mildred definitely wore the pants in that household.

Then there was the annoying neighbours... The Fourmiles, Geoffrey, Anne, Tristran and later on baby Tarquin. Wonderful show!!!

Mildred, and Tristam next door got many of the best lines. There's an episode where young Tristam is phoning to invite a friend to tea: "My Mum's made a cake, and they're usually quite eatable." Genius!
