Gambit Bars

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

A Gambit Bar was a chocolate bar of plain chocolate that came in about six sections and was lovely smooth chocolate. I think they weren't out for long and I remember them around 1984. They came in a deep red, purple wrapper.

Just spent the last few hours looking on the internet for the name of these bloomin bars!! I remember that I really liked them and they were only around for a short while, my mum liked them too which was unusual for her as she rarely ate chocolate. Anyway, the main thing I remember about them other than they were good was the TV advert of the guy crossing the ravine...turns out you can find that on some French facebook page that came up when I googled Gambit bar. Am surprised the advert doesnt appear on youtube compilation videos especially as Cadbury made them. Now that I know the name I wont be kept awake all night racking my brain...
