Ricardo Montalban always wore a white suit. The 'vertically challenged' guy, his assistant, would wear much the same outfit, and would announce "It's the plane boss, it's the plane!" as the visitors arrived at the island.
The visitors, it became apparent, were not randomly selected, and at some point, it would be revealed that the actions / lifestyle of one had impacted on one of the others there. There always seemed to be a moral to the stories.
