Eerie Indiana was a teen Tv show in in the 90s, set in America. The main character was Marshall Teller, a young boy whose family moves to the desolate town of Eerie, Indiana.
Together with his new friend Simon, they are faced with bizarre scenarios, which include discovering a group of intelligent dogs that are planning on taking over the world. They also confront urban legends such as Bigfoot, kind of like the X-Files, just not as spooky.
In 1998, a spin off was produced, called Eerie, Indiana: The Other Dimension. It focused on a younger main character but followed the same format. Needless to say, it was never as popular as the original, which is now available on dvd.
