Dusty The Airline Stewardess

Dusty The Airline Stewardess was around in the late 70's early 80's. She was a 12-inch doll similar to Sindy and she was an airline stewardess.

Dusty came with a uniform and hat and had an accessory plane carry case, on the outside of which was the nose of a British Airways 747 type jet. It opened up into two sides - one side was the galley and the other was a table with seats.

Dusty The Airline Stewardess also came with a hostesses trolley, a tray, cups and a coffee pot that she could serve from. She had costumes you could buy for every country the plane stopped in.

I thank you too - was beginning to think that I had made her up ! On Christmas day her plane was all wrapped up under the tree and my dad said it was a bird cage, I was very excited then remember opening it up and thinking glad it is not a bird cage - Dusty had 3 outfits and I wish I still had her but she is worth a fortune now with all her accessories

Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is the first site where i've found someone else who remembers Dusty. I had this doll with her aeroplane and my sister and I often talk about it but no-one else remembers her. I really wish i'd kept mine, well done Magic Roundabout for keeping yours. BigKid@heart

Hi Alison, proud to say I own a Dusty. She is kept save and sound. Sadly the full kit uniform no longer exists. Nice to see somebody knows Dusty. S.A.
