Drop The Dead Donkey was a satirical comedy set in the offices of the TV news company 'Globelink News'. The show mainly revolved around a few characters (Gus, George, Sally, Henry, Damien, Dave, Alex and Joy) and drew on current affairs to provide the writing material.
I was always impressed that a story could break a few hours before the show was broadcast and still be included, as well as the way it mercilessly made fun of celebrities, politicians and anyone that was in the news.
