David Cassidy

David Cassidy first appeared in the television series The Partridge Family as singing teen idol Keith Partridge.

Such was the success of the TV show and the role that David Cassidy played that it was not long before the fictional TV show became a reality and David Cassidy was releasing his own hit singles and had a huge fan club (of mainly teenage girls).

your story was almost believable but for the fact that David Cassidy never played hammersmith Apollo in 1974 - it was White City

I loved David Cassidy too but my memory when I hear his name is the death of a fan called Bernadette Whelan - I think she fainted and was trampled at one of his gigs cant remember where it was though! Always makes me feel sad when I hear his name even though I never knew the girl.

I lost my virginity to Mr Cassidy after a show in London in 1974. I was sweet 16 at the time. My father worked at the hammersmith odeon and got me a backstage pass and yes girls, he was good :-)

Well lady, I don't know who you lost your virginity to, but since DC didn't play Hammersmith Idron in 74, it sure as hell wasn't him
