Released in 1982 and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, this movie attempted to take advantage of the Conan books and comics which were popular at the time.
It was apparently very successful however I recall watching it at a birthday party a couple of years later and it was one of the most boring things any of us had ever seen!
It was done all to music with litle dialog. Being roughly 8 or 9 at the time, none of us had much patience for it and it wasn't long until we'd switched it over to Space Pirates.
At the movie's defence, the sequel was much more action (and dialog) packed and thus was enjoyed much more by many (at least many under 10s :P).
