cola cubes

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

These were basically cola flavoured sugared cubes - a boiled sweet with lots of sugar coating.

They're a very traditional sweet and came in other flavours.

Loved these and still buy them now and then. I also loved candy balls. Although they weren't balls they were triangle in shape, lovely sticky toffee flavour.

I used to buy 2 oz of Cola Cubes from the little shop next to my secondary school in Billericay in the late 60s. Also bought Pineapple Chunks and Sour Apples.

Still available today, and just as popular as they've ever been. I love 'em- the 'paper shop near to me sells them, I always try to buy a bag a week. Just the thing to suck on whilst perusing the DoYouRemember website!
