This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Clarence was a comedy from 1988 about a very short-sighted removals man called Clarence Sale who was in love with a housekeeper, Jane Travers. They lived together, but the housekeeper, Travers, always insisted in a bolster between them in bed!

Clarence was played by the great Ronnie Barker.

    I remember Clarence being show in the late 80's, but thinking it was much older, because of the way it was shot. Clarence was a character brilliantly played by Ronnie Barker. What I remember the most is that Clarence had very bad eyesight and wore strong glasses, and he would bumble around. This is one of Ronnie Barkers lesser known works, but is still up to its high standard.
