Chocolate Tools

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Chocolate Tools were about 3p in the 80`s and you could get various tools like saws and screwdrivers as well as a 'toolkit'. They were made from the best chocolate ever, that had a slight sherbety tang to them (although this may be because of the proximity to other fizzy sweets).

Lakeland does a set of chocolate tools in a tin box. A nice Christmas stocking filler for the mechanic in your life, but not cheap at £4.50! You can always wait until the new year when they reduce some of their sweet range to half price, but even then they'd still be quite expensive!

You can get the original chocolate tools at the barras market. There's a HUGE sweetie stall the that has every old fashioned sweet thats still in existence! It's all the proper one's too, taste just as I remember. Sammy saw, shirley screwdriver, peter plyers!! and the fish and chips too! a trip down memory lane alright!
