Buzzy the Cookie Cutter

Buzzy was an electronic "cookie cutter" that was in the shape of a gingerbread man, and probably roughly 8 1/2 x 11 inches. He had a router-type bit in the middle of him and I think you turned it on with his nose.

Included with Buzzy were plastic shapes. You placed one on top of a Graham cracker and that was the guide that allowed you to grind the cracker to that shape.

Then, frost and voila! You've got yourself a choo-choo shaped, frosted Graham cracker!

My mom found mine in her basement about 4 months ago, I was so excited to get it home. When I got it home my husband had to do something with it and got it to work. I felt like a kid again. No one that I ask remembers this thing but it was my favorite toy when I was a kid. Now 29 I can feel like a 5 year old again.

Wow! I didn't realize that many people had or liked Buzzy. I was the girl on the box. I still have mine at my parents house and will try to get a picture of it.

Buzzy was fixed last night...loose wire. I'll sell him, if you still want one! My daughter and I "buzzed" a few cookies, so funny! I can't find his battery cover, so the batteries need to be taped in. I know I had a few of the cutter shapes tossed in with the Christmas cookie cutters...I might be able to find them, too!

I have a buzzy. He is missing his battery cover and has a bad connection because he comes on briefly and goes out. The wiring is simple, I am sure he can be fixed. onigiri_bunnie@yahoo.com put "buzzy" in the subject so I know it isn't spam. His left "cheek" sticker is a little tattered, but he looks pretty good for his age!
