A sitcom about two families in a Northern mill town - the Hardacres and the Fairchilds. The Hardacres are rich (have loads of 'Brass') and own the local mill and the Fairchilds are the employees.
Very much the same genre as Upstairs Downstairs. The lives of the two (very different) families are often intertwined with romance and contempt.
