Bones crisps

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

"Bones" crisps, the packets were black with skeletal style pictures on the front , crisps were kind of bone shaped, well sort of! They only came in salt & vinegar, and were kind of like space invaders.

After just having a packet of fish & chips I remember bones crisps which also packed a high dosage of vinegar which seriously attacked your taste buds especially when you put a few in your mouth at once, mmmm I can remember the taste them right now. I would say bacon smax had to be my favourite snack crisps.

I do remember those. They were like turbo salt & vinegar flavour and you got a mega head rush when you tipped the bits from the bottom of the bag into your mouth.

These were like sulphuric acid, enough to jump start a V12 Jaguar, lol. Great crisps, strangely addictive.

I remember those lovely crisps! I thought they were smashin'. The advertisement also had the “companion crisps” Fangs – cheese and onion flavour. Wonderful. The flavouring on Bones was so strong that it left a kind of burning feeling on the tongue. I think that the manufacturers must have put some kind of acid – other than acetic – in the flavouring. Wonderful times!
