Beverly Hills Cop (1984)

The first Beverly Hills Cop movie was arguably the best and featured Eddie Murphy adding a comedy layer that is less noticable in the two sequels.

Eddie Murphy plays Axel Foley a cop whose friend is killed on a visit to Detroit. Axel sets out to catch the killer and follows the murder trail to Beverly Hills where he meets two extraordinary characters, Rosewood and Taggart, who help him on his mission.

Have just bought the 3 disc set. BHC is still so funny, (well I think so) II is kind of ok... but III? well, I think it's one of Eddie Murphy's most terrible. (and there's a few of them)

I remember Eddies quirky laugh, the right timing of the jokes and of course the immortal soundtrack....
