Barnaby

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Barnaby the Bear's my name. Never call me Jack or James. Barnaby was sung and narrated by Brian Cant I think? I remember a little bear skipping through a forest singing this song. Animated a bit like The Herbs. It was about 10 minutes long and was shown in the early 70's I think. Narrated by Colin Jeavons.

It wasn't Brian Cant singing it but I agree, it was someone similar. It was actually French with an English voiceover. The rest of the words were; I have S(f?)ought my way to fame, Barnaby the Bears my name. Birds taught me to sing, when they took me to their King. First I had to fly, In the sky, so high (x5) So if you want to sing this way, Think of words you'd like to say. I have s(f)ought my way to fame, Barnaby the Bear's my name. Don't ask me how I can remember that, I don't know. Now to remember what I did last week...
