i loved the seventies fashion , no one followed one fashion only, like people nowadays . you had so many fashion to choose from it was great. minis , midis, maxis ,hotpants, hotpants suits, trevaira suits, sailor dresses, us army shirts, tye dyes, ben sherman shirts. platform shoes so high you ended up in hospital when you fell off them ha. glitter clothes , oxford bag trousers . Jeans that you wore in the bath to shrink them to your size (yes that is true we all have sat in a bath full of electric blue water ) ( cause the dye came out ha ) then when they were dry you had to lay on the floor to get the jeans back on with a friend helping to get the zip up (wire coat hangers came in handy ) then trying to breath properly as the jeans had shrunk a lot . great fun, bell bottom trousers . there was so much happening in that era . you could be as individual as you wanted to be, it didnt matter what size you were you were accepted, it was a great time to be young, and even my mums generation found a freedom not known to them before , wonderful memories never to be forgotten ,
