Mens safari suit

For a brief (oh so brief) time in the 1970's the Safari Suit was in vogue.

It was seen as more stylish than the regular suit.It usually was beige coloured and had short sleeves, instead of being long. It was made from polyester and had a broad collar unbuttoned at the top, epaulettes and four pockets. This was worn with either long trousers or shorts and knee high socks.

They were worn in the UK but were also massively popular in Australia, where most men owned at least one and they were an acceptable substitute for a business suit!
