Dark Shadows

A gothic soap opera which featured vampires, werewolves, witches, worlocks and other supernatural beings.

The soap lasted 5 years, starting in 1966 and running until 1971 and was aired during the daytime. It became massively popular in it's time. Jonathan Frid played Barnabas Collins who was a 175-year-old vampire in search of fresh blood and his lost love, Josette.

Dark Shadows was what Twilight is today.
