Rise and Shine Powdered Fruit Juice

Rise and Shine was the substitute for when fruit juice was only to be found in tins or on very exotic holidays and was was very popular during the 1970's.

It came in the form of a powder mix sachet which was mixed with water and was the equivelant to today's "Sunny Delight".

Obviously a desired taste.

jeez - I have been trying to remember the name of this stuff for years. It was like ground-up vitamin c tablets, vibrant orange, got the salivary juices sparked up and came in a sealed paper pouch which you flicked, tore open and mixed with tap water in a good old fashioned glass jug. It was fabulous!
