Captain Caveman

Captain Caveman : Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels was a cartoon featuring a small hairy caveman, and 3 fairly good looking young women. Strange combination, which to my mind only goes towards proving there IS hope for ugly blokes who want to pull fit women, but enough of that for now.

They used to investigate strange occurences in a Scooby Doo type way.

Captain Caveman had a huge wooden club hidden in his hairy body, which could either be used as a torch (by opening the end and releasing a small candle-weilding bird,) or as a flying mode of transport.

He was voiced by Mel Blanc, who also did Barney Rubble and ALL the Looney Tunes characters.

MY FAVOURITE CARTOON OF ALL TIME! Have most of episodes on tape, and never tire of rewatching!!! That theme tune must be one of the most unique, redneck style tunes Ive ever heard!!! Have it as my mobile ringtomne now lol! The old cartoons were always the best and still are to me!

The original fiendishly difficult puzzle,

now with solution guide

The original fiendishly difficult puzzle, invented by Erno Rubik in Hungary and one of the biggest toy crazes ever. In 1982 Hawkin's Bazaar was the first to bring a few cases of the Rubik's Cube to England. Unfortunately 25 years ago we were very small and it wasn't long before a much larger company had the exclusive rights to distribute in the UK. We are very pleased to be offering it again! And now includes a new seven step solution guide.

Family Ness

Family Ness

The Family Ness was written and created in 1983 by Peter Maddocks, who also created Penny Crayon and Jimbo and the Jetset - just two other classic 80s cartoons. Not just one, but a whole family of Nessies live in the depths of Loch Ness, Scotland. The monsters all know that they must have nothing to do with humans, until the day they meet Elspeth and Angus. They are the two children of Mr McTout - the keeper of Loch Ness (and a non-believer). The main thing I remember, though, was the theme tune and how awesome it would be if I knew Family Ness!
