Chris Rea

Born in Middlesborough in March, 1951, the singer-songwriter started his music career in 1973.

Some of his most memorable tracks are:

Fool (If You Think It's Over)
On The Beach
Tell Me There's A Heaven
Come So Far, Yet Still So Far To Go
The Road To Hell
The Blue Cafe

He also starred alongside John Cleese, Bob Hoskins & Joanna Lumley in the 1999 hit comedy film 'Parting Shots', playing the lead role.

the ultimate in chill out, gone a bit morbid since he nearly died but who can hold that against him. dont like his later stuff but the classics never get old. on the beach, julia etc. going to his farewell concert in march 06 all the old stuff, cant wait
