Straight to Hell (1986)

A story of blood, money, coffee, guns, and sexual tension. Not a movie for everyone, only for folks who were cool in the 80's. Directed by Alex Cox (Repo Man, Sid and Nancy) it was a modern day spaghetti western. The 'Good Guys' played by Joe Srummer, Sy Richardson, Dick Rude, and Courtney Love, find themselves in a town full of banditos played primarily by the Pogues. Straight to Hell was filmed in Almeria, Spain, on the sets used for the wonderful Sergio Leone westerns (the Clint Eastwood trilogy). Cameos by Dennis Hopper, Elvis Costello, and Grace Jones, just to name a few. Killer soundtrack.
