Carrie and Christopher dolls

Carrie and Christopher dolls were two dolls about seven inches high with short blonde hair. You could buy all sorts of accessories for them like a cot and a double buggy. The dolls came out in 1978 and I think they were made by Fisher Price.

All my friends had Carrie and Christopher dolls and we all collected the furniture and accessories. My mum use to knit tiny little outfits for them! I have still got my Carrie and Christopher dolls plus all the furniture and accessories I bought!

Aww these were sooooo cute! I didn't have Christopher, much to my annoyance but I did have Carrie! Me and my little friends used to have much gigglement over Christopher and would always be fighting over whose turn it was to change him because, well, ahem, let's just say Christopher wasn't like Barbie's ken! :D

I had Carrie and Christopher and they were the only dolls I ever bothered with....I spent a lot of my childhood in great ormond street children's hospital and these dolls were my companions. Sadly they got misplaced during a move from hospital to home again. Very much lost but not forgotten :-(

I was born in 1969, and had carrie and christopher plus all accessories, took the dolls everywhere with me. Found them on ebay last year when my partner randomly typed in my name. He bought loads of dolls and accessories as a surprise for me and I was truly emotional. I now have a fabulous collection that bring back wonderful memories. Thank god for ebay !!! carrie-anne parsons

This is nuts. I was born in 1979, and I must have recieved my Carrie when I was born. But I always assumed she was hand-made or off-brand and that my mom named her Carrie, or that I named her Carrie. I thought she was one of a kind. I'm sure upon closer inspection it would be obvious now, but in my child's mind she was the one and only Carrie, and in my memory it has stuck this way. No one else I knew had one. Its so weird now to see my Carrie looking like new on Ebay! Huh!
