Roger Moore

Roger Moore was born in 1927 and has been a well known face both on television and in films since the 1950's. He became a household name as he took on the role of Simon Templar in 'The Saint' in the 1960's but since then has become an international actor when he took over the role of James Bond from Sean Connery. The first Bond film was 'Live and Let Die' with the last with Moore as Bond in 'A View to Kill' in 1985. Roger Moore portrayed the role with flair and the films are just as popular today as the day they were made.

    I remember him in "Ivanhoe", late fifties, early sixties. He also appeared in a few "Maverick" episodes, as Brett's English cousin. Strangely enough, he appeared as Lord BRETT Sinclair, in "The Persuaders" with Tony Curtis, back in the seventies/eighties.
