UB40

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

I remember UB40 mainly for one song: Neil Diamond's "Red Red Wine". The UB40 version of it had a reggae take and was interestingly done. It was catchy and did it some justice. Another hit I remember was Elvis' "I Can't Help Falling in Love With You" which also took the original song and repackaged it with a reggae beat.

UB40's recording of 'Red Red Wine' was not the first reggae version of the song - It was recorded in this style in the late sixties by Tony Tribe.
