Starship

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

My earliest memory of Starship is the song "We Built This City". It's about San Francisco. They did another one about a year or so later and it got to number one. "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" from the film Mannequin, which starrred a young Kim Catrall.

Do You Remember Starship?

I believe they were the 1980s incarnation of Jefferson Airplane, which mutated into Jefferson Starship and in the end shortened this just to 'Starship'. Some of the line-up has changed over the decades, although Grace Slick remains the lead vocalist.
