Renee and Renato

Renee and Renato had the big hit of 1982, 'Save Your Love'. Although he was a serious opera singer from Italy (and still is!) this will probably be what he's best remembered for. Pointless fact: the woman that's in the video with him is not the singer! For some reason, it's a different woman. Song should probably be on a list of songs you secretly like, but would never admit it.

Renato ended up working as a waiter in an Italian restaurant in Sutton Coldfield, which he co-owned. Tragically, he died at the end of July 2009 of complications following a brain tumour operation.

Apparently 'Save Your Love' was written by the guy who created and provided the voice for 'Metal Mickey'.

Every year brings at least one dreadful chart-topper. Remember the "Italian" singer Joe Dolce's 'Shaddup You Face' from 1981? I'll NEVER forgive him for keeping Ultravox's 'Vienna' off the top spot!

This duo's only hit was that forgettable song save your love, It made no1.It has polled in the top 20 of the worst love songs ever!
