Doctor and The Medics

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Doctor and the Medics were to goth what The Darkness are to heavy metal. They scored a massive number one hit with a cover of Norman Greenbaum's "Spirit In The Sky". A cover of "Waterloo" (with Roy Wood) failed to keep their chartlife going and they spirited off into the realms of "Where Are They Now?"

Freaks! The lot of 'em! But what a cool remake of a classic! I loved this when it was released! What were those two Goths about at all?! Wern't they called the Asprin Twins? Pure cheesy tongue in cheek! Loved the lead singers hair!
