Chuck Berry

Chuck Berry was one of the truly great rock'n'rollers. He had a major influence on many bands including the Beatles and dozens of rock groups of the 70s and 80s. Who can forget "Roll Over Beethoven" or "No Particular Place To Go"?

Still gigging in his 70s, Chuck Berry spoiled things a little with "My Ding A Ling" and spells in prison. A great singer and writer though.
