Visionaries

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Visionaries were action figures based on cartoon series. They were like medieval knights and could turn in to the creature or animal emblem that was on their chest. Each Visionary action figure included a hologram on the chest of each character. Standard good guy vs. bad guy fare.

I had Arzon, that turned into a Falcon, and Witterquick, the Cheetah. I remember the spell for Witterquick's wisdom totem: "A whim, A thought and more is sought, awake my mind and thy be wrought." Classic stuff!

they just don't make TV like they used to!! A group of us were discussing TV from our childhood, and could all remember visionaries, but i think it took us 4 or 5 pints for someone to remember it's name!! god bless the 80's!!

"Nights of the magical light!" Remember, they had animal totems on their chest and could use that power to turn into a magical animal!

i will always remember the first ever episode of the visionaries when Leoric chases that giant monster and runs away. Still makes me laugh because everyone knows that the thing would just squash him. Witterquick was the best knight - he rocked.

I only ever had one, and that was Ectar and his Lancer Cycle. Ectar was the one who could turn into a fox. I still have this on proud display in my room. I still remember the spell he used to protect himself in the Lancer Cycle. Here goes "Shield this craft form one and all. Reflect, deflect, depose and fall."
