Tubtown

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Tub Town was a toy town that suction-cupped to the side of your bath tub. It had a little elevator and shower, etc. It looked like a little seaside apartment, I guess. Tub Town came with four figurines and it made bathtime fun.

My kids loved tub town so much that I kept it and have since passed it on to my daughter. Her daughter (my granddaughter) is now 11 months old, and I'm sure she will spend many happy hours in the tub with tub town when she's a bit older :)

They have a version of this that has a ferris wheel and stuff. You can buy it at Walmart but I wouldn't. The thing doesn't really stay suctioned to your wall at all. The old one rocked.

I too LOVED tub town. I've been trying to find one (or at least a good substitute) for a friend of mine's son. Does anybody know who made the original Tub Town? Funrise has a whole "Tub Town" series that suctions to the tub, but it doesn't look anything like the Tub Town I remember! Plus, according to their website, the company wasn't created until 1987. I'm 99% sure I had Tub Town a year or two before that. If anyone knows the manufacturer, please post!!!! By the way, I can't believe there was a Tub Town Circus and I never even knew about it! I'm so jealous!

Tub town was awesome! My parents always had trouble getting me out of the bath, and I always looked like a raisin. Why did they stop making Tub Town, and why did I ever get rid of mine? DARN IT ALL!!! I had the regular tub town and the Tub town sea circus, and handed them down when it was embarrasing for me to be playing with little people in the bath tub. Now I want my little niece to experience the wonderment of Tub Town, and they are nowhere to be found!!! Well, with the exceptions of some really lame, not nearly as cool knock offs. What, were people afraid that their kids would choke it the bathtub? Man all the toys they make today are all chunky and rounded....LAME!!!
