Electric Super Cup Football

I distinctly remember Electric Super Cup Football. it was kind of like a cross between those static air hockey tables you always get at Mega Bowl or in the seaside arcades, with the classic Subbuteo football game. I think I recieved mine in '83 or '84 and it was probably the dumbest game I've ever played! It consisted of little plastic players that you placed on the field and once you turned the field on, it would vibrate and send the players running around the field.

There was basically no way of controlling where your players were going and half of them would end up laying on their side!

I remember this, I got it the same Christmas the kid next door got Castle Greyskull. I loved it. The balls got lost easily though.

This is still the most fantastic game ever and I still play it with my Pop and friend. I am 32.

I've got one of these which still worked the last time I tried it out. The players were a bit fragile, I remember my uncle gluing 1 or 2 back on their bases. A couple of cheats were to keep moving the goalie about very fast to it was impossible to score, & blowing the ball into the net, as it was so light.

me and my mate cut a football sticker album up and used to buy players and sell them and used them as our 5 a side teams for this game.
