Muppet Babies

All our favorite Muppet characters as babies!

The Muppet Babies was a Saturday morning cartoon where the babies would always get in to trouble by opening their closet door and entering some kind of crazy adventure. By the end of the show their Nanny would come back and it would all be alright again.

They made little plastic/rubber figurines (and probably plush dolls too).

They also included Muppet Babies in McDonald's Happy Meals at one point!

I LOVED this cartoon when I was growing up! It was up there with Ghostbusters, The Real Ghostbusters, The Wizard of Oz, The Little Yearling, She-Ra, Jem, Ducktales, Smurfs and GummiBears ... I remember watching it almost everyday, after school. I never had any of the soft toys, but I did collect the McDonalds Happy Meal Muppet Babies figurines and their little vehicles! These figurines were SO cute, and very nicely painted! I had Kermit and his skateboard; Miss Piggy and her pink car; Fozzy and his rocking horse; and Gonzo and his tricycle. Ah, the memories!
