Koosas

Koosas were little animal dolls with stuffed bodies and hard plastic heads. You could get either cat, dog or lion Koosas that came in all sorts of different colours. Koosas had either blue or brown eyes. When you bought a Koosa you had to register it with the Koosas Kennel Association and to let you know that you'd successfully adopted your Koosa you received a sticker with your chosen name and you could stick this on the collar that came with all the toys.

Koosas were sold as the pets for the Cabbage Patch Kids. The story goes a little bit like this:

In the Wykoosa Valley Friendly Koosas play But then one day, there came a flood That swept them all away

But Colonel Casey, the kindly stork Rescued every one And flew them to the Cabbage Patch To heal in the warming sun

These have got to be one of the SCARIEST dolls ever made! They were bascily Cabbage Patch dolls, but animals instead of babies. Now Cabbage Patch Dolls were pretty scary with their eyes far too close together but Koosas looked like mutant Cabbage Patch Kids. Koosas are something no child should have to see - the trauma could put you into therapy for years! Larah Wylde

Koosas are adorable, kind and friendly. Koosas are very precious . They are a friend to all in need. They should be in every child's life and every child should have at least one Koosas to cherish and love. The story of the Koosas is a wonderful story. Koosas are much better than animals like Barney, Big Bird and Elmo. I am deeply offended by the rude remark about the koosas. Koosas are not mutants and no child would ever be scared by a koosas. Everyone loves koosas.

I had one that my dad made me give away when I was 12. I LOVED that little cat. A couple of years ago, I found one in perfect condition at a market. I really wish they's bring them back; I'd buy all the cats.

Koosas aren't scary.A Koosa was the Hobbes to my Calvin in my earlier years. As mentioned in the description Koosas were animal Cabbage Patches. They came in three varieties: dogs, cats, and lions. There were also smaller plush Koosas called Playmates available as well as posable Koosas figures and Koosa figurines.Last but not least was the Koosas care center,a set containing a bed, feeding dish and toy for your Koosas.
