Paul Young

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Paul Young started out with the Q Tips before going solo. He has the voice of a soul man and has covered several motown classics. "Wherever I Lay My Hat" was a massive hit and other singles included "Love of The Common People" and "Come Back and Stay".

Paul Young also appeared on the Band Aid single in 1984.

My hubby knew the fella in the 70s - when he was with the Q-Tips. Nice geeza who can sing & cook (Paul Young - not the old man, sadly!)

Saw Paul Young twice in concert at Wembley during his "No Parlez" peak. The second time George Michael came on stage and sang a duet with him which was really great.

Another of my music greats. A good voice for someone from Luton. I read reviews recently slating him but I think a bit unfounded. Very underated vocal skills.
