Produced by Mattel from 1988 to 1990, Cherry Merry Muffin was basicly a re-hash of Strawberry Shortcake.

Each Cherry Merry Mufin doll was a small, poseable, plastic doll with mouded on shoes. The dolls were scented, had a muffin-themed little friend and even came in 'Snack 'N Serve' giftsets.

Cherry Merry Muffin were not as popular as Strawberry Shortcake and I don't believe they've been re-made as she has.

    I have been searching relentlessly to find out just what my favorite childhood doll's name and make was. Finally! I found it! I still smell what I had thought to be strawberry... ha, I had mistaken it for a strawberry shortcake doll all along!

    wow...i got tears in my eyes when i saw these dolls. When I was younger, I was obsessed with Cherry Merry Muffin...I had all the stuff! I can still smell the scents of the dolls :) The pics brought back so many memories. My favorie was Chocolattie
