Marillion

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

I mainly remember Marillion from when Fish was the lead singer and they had the mega hit "Kayleigh".

Fish left to go solo in the late 80's and was replaced by Steve Hogarth. Marillion are still going strong today.

I won tickets to see them too, at the Cornwall Coliseum. I vividly remember turining up in a black rara skirt , black top and a ponytail with a huge bow(a la claire grogan, dontcha know!)and feeling soooooooo out of place. Was honestly one of the best gigs ever though.

Marillion were supporting the Quo at their last ever (?) gig at Milton Keynes in 1984. I'd won tickets for the show & saw Fish back-stage with an exotic Far-Eastern entourage. He was posing like crazy, but stiill blew the audience away with 'Kayleigh'!

I used to work for the band, we noticed that most Kayleighs were born on 7th May 1985 or after, very few before :-)
