Iggy Pop

American Singer-Songwriter & actor was born in 1947, his real name is James Newell Osterberg.

Iggy Pop was the first performer to do a stage-dive which he started at a concert in the US. He has performed in a number of movies which include "Sid and Nancy" & "The Rugrats Movie. Iggy has also had songs on eighteen soundtracks, including Crocodile Dundee 2, Trainspotting, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Haggard, Arizona Dream, the main theme of Repo Man and Kurt Cobain: About a Son.

In January 2009, Iggy was signed up as the face of Swiftcover, the UK-based online insurance company. The advert was then banned by the Advertising Standards Authoritythe same year for being misleading – it implied that Iggy Pop himself had an insurance policy with Swiftcover when at the time the company did not insure musicians.
