Blondie

Debbie Harry fronted this popular band that rose to fame in the late 70s. The band was named after Debbie who was frequently called blondie (because of her blonde hair I presume).

Debbie Harry later went solo after the steady decline in popularity of Blondie.

Famous hits include "French Kissin' in the USA" and "Heart of Glass".

I always wanted to look like Debbie Harry! Saw Blondie live years later - twice - first time was good, the second time Debbie showed her age.....sigh....
